SCRIPTURE on the theme of Responsibility
And Elohim said to Abraham, You shall keep my covenant therefore, you, and your seed after you in their generations.
And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; for all the goods of his master were in his hand: and he arose, and went to Mesopotamia, to the city of Nahor.
And you know that with all my power I have served your father.
This twenty years have I been with you; your ewes and your she goats have not cast their young, and the rams of your flock have I not eaten.
That which was torn of beasts I brought not to you; I bare the loss of it; of my hand did you require it, whether stolen by day, or stolen by night.
If the injured man rises again, and walks abroad upon his staff, then shall he who smote the injured man be quit: only he shall pay for the loss of the injured man's time, and shall cause the injured man to be thoroughly healed.
If an ox gore a man or a woman, that they die: then the ox shall be surely stoned, and his flesh shall not be eaten; but the owner of the ox shall be quit.
When you build a new house, make a guard-rail for your roof, so you don't bring blood on your house, if men fall.
note: A worker-protection and personal responsibility statute, almost completely ignored worldwide, and many roof-workers thus die and leave orphans and widows behind. The man who put the roof on our old "mansion" died falling off of a roof.
The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
Your wives, your little ones, and your cattle shall remain in the land which Moses gave you on this side of the Jordan; but you shall pass ahead of your brothers armed, all the mighty men of valor, and help them;
Until YHWH gives your brothers rest, as he has given you, and your brothers also have possessed the land which YHWH your Elohim gives them: then you shall return to the land of your possession, and enjoy it, which Moses YHWH's servant gave you on this side Jordan toward the sunrise.
So the two spies returned, and descended from the mountain, and passed over, and came to JAHshua the son of Nun, and told JAHshua all things that befell them:
You command you, saying, "Take you from here out of the midst of Jordan, out of the place where the priests' feet stood firm, twelve stones: carry them over with you, and leave them in the place, where you shall lodge this night.
JAHshua said tot hem, "Pass over before the ark of YHWH Elohim into the middle of Jordan, and each man of you take up one stone upon his shoulder, the number of the tribes of the children of Israel:
1st Kings 15:15
And Asa brought in the things which his father had dedicated, and the things which he himself had dedicated, into the house of YHWH, silver, and gold, and vessels.
That I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he was a faithful man, and feared Elohim above many.
note: Hannaniah means 'Favored of YAH'.
And I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemiah the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedaiah: and next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah: for they were counted faithful, and their office was to distribute to their brothers.
He who diligently seeks good procures favor: but he who seeks mischief, mischief shall come to him.
A wicked deputy falls into trouble: but a faithful ambassador is health.
Much food is in the worked-soil of the poor: but substance is consumed for want of judgment.
There are desirable treasure and oil in the home of the wise; but a foolish man squanders.
Like cold snow in harvest-time, is a faithful helper to his senders; refreshing the master's soul.
Be diligent: know the condition of your flocks; look well to your herds.
Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.
Her husband is known in the gates, when he sits among the elders of the land.
Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified," says YHWH.
For whoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whoever has not, from him shall be taken away even that he has.
But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes.
Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he comes shall find so doing.
Truly I say to you, That the lord shall make the faithful and wise servant ruler over all the lord's goods.
Then shall the Kingdom of Heaven be likened to ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
And five of the virgins were wise, and five were foolish.
But the wise virgins took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
But the wise virgins answered, saying, "Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go you rather to them that sell [oil], and buy for yourselves."
And while the [foolish virgins] went to buy, the bridegroom came; and the virgins that were ready went in with the bridegroom to the marriage: and the door was shut.
Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man comes.
But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, "To what purpose is this waste?
For he who has, to him shall be given: and he who has not, from him shall be taken even that which he has."
And Yahshua began to speak to them by parables: A certain man planted a vineyard, and set a hedge around it, and dug a vat for the winepress, and built a tower, and leased out the vineyard to husbandmen, and went into a far country.
Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, the landowner sent him also last to the bad stewards, saying, They will reverence my son.
For the Son of man is like a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the warden to watch.
Take heed therefore how you hear: for whoever has, to him shall be given; and whoever has not, from him shall be taken even that which he seems to have."
Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;
And you yourselves like men who wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he comes and knocks, they may open to him immediately.
But he who did not know, and committed acts worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For to whomever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask more.
He who is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he who is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say to him by and by, when he has come from the field, "Go and sit down to meat?"
And will not rather say to your servant, 'Make ready with which I may eat, and gird yourself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken;' and afterward you shall eat and drink?
Do the master thank that servant for doing the things that were commanded him? I think not.
That the saying might be fulfilled, which he spoke, Of them which you gave me have I lost none.
Gamaliel said to the rulers, "You men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men.
Therefore, brothers, search out among you 7 men of honest report, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this task.
Now send men to Joppa, and bring back a man named Simon (called Peter.)
The [centurion's] men men called out, asking if Simon (a.k.a. Peter) was staying there.
So keep watch over yourselves and all the flock over which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to feed the ekklesia of Elohim, which He has purchased with his own blood.
Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Wherefore be you not unwise, but understanding what is the will of Adonai.
Masters, give to your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.
1st Timothy 1:12
And I thank MessiYah Yahshua our Adonai, who has enabled me, because he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
1st Timothy 3:1
This is a true saying, If a man desire overseer-ship, he desires a good work.
note: Bishopric/overseership is the description of a man who has the gift (talent) for overseeing projects. Bishopric is not a job title, or heirarchal position. Bishopric is an honorary description voiced by other men who recognize a man's talents and choose that man to oversee a joint project in which the other men will respect the talents of the man they describe as an "overseer." In no way does such a "project overseer" become an overseer or authority or "Bishop" over other men. He simply is recognized as being good at managing particular projects. Bishopric/Overseer-ship is not an "office;" the word "office" has been inserted without cause.
1st Timothy 3:10
And let these also first be proved; then let them be deacons, being found blameless.
note: Again, the deceptive hierarchal word "office" was simply just inserted, causing centuries of hierarchal structures to be created in blatant error.
1st Timothy 3:13
For good deacons purchase to themselves beautiful dignity, and great boldness in the faith which is in MessiYah Yahshua.
1st Timothy 4:14
Neglect not the gift in you, given you by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the order of elders.
1st Timothy 5:8
But if anyone provides not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
2nd Timothy 1:6
Therefore I remind you to fan into flames the gift of Elohim, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
2nd Timothy 1:14
Guard that good deposit committed to you by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.
2nd Timothy 2:4
No man who wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life; so that he may please him who has chosen him to be a soldier.
2nd Peter 1:10
Wherefore the rather, brothers, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if you do these things, you shall never fall:
2nd John 1:8
