Genesis 22:6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.
Genesis 22:9 And they came to the place which Elohim had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
note: One wonders if this traditional telling is really the correct translation?

Genesis 22:10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
Genesis 22:12 And the angel said, "Lay not your hand upon the boy, do nothing: now I know that you fear Elohim; you have not withheld your son, your only."

NehemiYAH 8:16 So the people went out, and brought branches, and made themselves booths, every one upon the roof of his house, and in their courtyards, and in the courts of the house of Elohim, and in the street of the water gate, and in the street by the gate of Ephraim.
NehemiYAH 8:17 All the company that had returned from captivity made booths, and sat under the booths: for since the days of JAHhua son of Nun to that day the children of Israel had not celebrated in this way. And there was very great gladness.
note: A whole society going into the country and making little forts like children, to relive the days of their ancestors wandering in the desert. How fun, for the children at least!

Psalms 25:10 All the paths of YHWH are mercy and truth to those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
Psalms 26:2 Examine me, YHWH, prove me; try my mind and heart.
Proverbs 7:2 Keep my commandments, and live; [guard] my law like [you guard] the pupil of your eye.
note: You don't let anything risk poking out your eye; so why risk losing your spiritual sight by letting go of the Word of Life? Study the Scriptures!

Proverbs 7:3 Bind [my commandments] upon your fingers, write them on the tablet of your heart.

Matthew 19:17 And Yahshua said to him, "Why call you me good? there is no one good but one, that is, YHVH: but if you will enter into life, keep the commandments."
note: Yahshua did not say, "Repeat this prayer of salvation after me and you will have assurance of salvation." Yahshua said that eternal life is gained by active obedience to the commandments of YAH.

Matthew 21:7 And brought the donkey, and the colt, and put their clothes on the animals, and set Yahshua thereon.
Matthew 21:28 But what do you think? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, 'Son, go work to day in my vineyard.'

Luke 6:47 Whoever comes to me, and hears my sayings, and does them, I will show you to whom he is like:
Luke 6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and dug deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

John 2:5 Yahshua's mother said to the servants, "Whatsoever Yahshua says to you, do it."
note: For those who venerate Mary, we say we also honor Mary because she commanded us to perfectly obey Yahshua.

John 2:7 Yahshua said to the servants, "Fill the waterpots with water." And the servants filled the pots up to the brim.
John 4:31 In the meanwhile Yahshua's disciples urged him, saying, "Master, eat."
John 4:32 But Yahshua said to his disciples, "I have meat to eat that you know not of."
John 4:34 Yahshua said to his disciples, "My food is to do the will of him who sent me, and to finish his work."
John 5:19 Then answered Yahshua and said to the Jews, "Truly, truly, I say to you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do: for whatsoever things the Father does, these also does the Son likewise.
John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of Him who sent me.
John 6:39 And this is the will of Father who has sent me, that of all that He has given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

John 15:14 You are my friends, if you do whatsoever I command you.
John 21:15 So when they had dined, Yahshua said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonas, love you me more than these?" Simon Peter said to Yahshua, "Yea, Adonai; you know that I love you." Yahshua said to Simon Peter, "Feed my lambs."
Acts 1:2 Until the day in which Yahshua was taken up, after Yahshua through the Holy Spirit gave commandments to the apostles whom he had chosen:
Acts 10:35 But in every nation he who fears YHVH, and works righteousness, is accepted by YHVH.
note: The gospel is to draw men out of every nation into the Kingdom of Heaven. Those who expect to be accepted by the Creator must BOTH fear Him and DO works of righteousness.

Acts 22:10 I answered, "What shall I do, Adonai?" And Adonai said to me, "Arise, and go into Damascus; and there you will be told all the things which are appointed for you to do."
Acts 26:19 So then, king Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the vision from heaven.
Acts 27:32 Then the soldiers cut the ropes to the lifeboat, and let it fall [and drift away.]
Romans 2:13 For it's not those who hear the law who are righteous in Elohim's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be justified.
Romans 6:15 What then? Shall we sin, because we are not legally bound, but under grace? Not at all!
note: Come on! What nonsense! "Sin is the transgression of the law." (1 John 3:4) We honor the principles of the Mosaic code because that code was given to the Israelites by our Father in heaven.

Romans 6:16 Don't you know that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, you are slaves of the one you obey; Whether slaves of sin [rushing] to death, or obedient servants of righteousness?
note: When you pledge allegiance to a nation or promise to obey the motor vehicle code, or all of the laws of the State, you are making yourself a slave to a worldly master. No man can serve two masters.

Romans 6:17 But thank Elohim that though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the pattern of teaching to which you were entrusted.
Romans 6:18 You were set free from sin and have become servants of righteousness.
Romans 10:5 For Moses describes the righteousness which is by the law: That the man who follows the commands shall live by them.
Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in Adonai: for this is right.
Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, Yahshua humbled himself, and became obedient to death, even the death of the cross.
Philippians 3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of MessiYah Yahshua.
Colossians 3:20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing to Adonai.
1st Timothy 6:14 That you keep this injunction without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Adonai Yahshua MessiYah:
James 1:22 But be you doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
James 1:25 But whoso looks into the perfect law of independence, and continues therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
1st John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know Yahshua, if we keep his commandments.
1st John 2:5 But whoso keeps Yahshua's word, in him truly is the love of Elohim perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
1st John 2:6 He who said he abides in Yahshua ought himself also so to walk, even as Yahshua walked.
1st John 2:17 And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he who does the will of Elohim abides for ever.
1st John 3:4 Whoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
note: Here is one of the most important realizations ever: sin is defined literally as the transgression of the Law. Any departure from any command of YHWH which concerns you is sin. Not just what the people around you think is sin, but what YHWH calls sin. For example, you know adultery is sin, but did you know oaths and agreements (with Non-Hebrews) are sin? Debt is a sin. Partaking in the census is a sin. Signing binding contracts is a sin. Did you know handing over the education of your children to others (teachers) is a sin? Nearly every example of modern life in the so-called 'Christian' world is a transgression of the Law, therefore sin. Change directions (repent) from sin.

1st John 3:23 And this is YAH's commandment: That we should believe on the name of His Son Yahshua MessiYah, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.
1st John 3:24 And he who keeps Yahshua's commandments dwells in Yahshua, and Yahshua in him. And hereby we know that Yahshua abides in us, by the Spirit which Yahshua has given us.
note: This is equally true of Yah as it is true of Yahshua.

1st John 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of Elohim, when we love Elohim, and keep his commandments.
note: Only by following the commands of YHWH can we know that we love him. By studying the commands handed to people from Yah through Moses, the Prophets, Yahshua, etc., we show that we love YHWH. If we ignore the commands given to Yah's servants through the ages, even though some confused preacher says those commands are irrelevant because we're saved by grace, we lie and the love of YHWH is not in us.

1st John 5:3 For this is the love of Elohim, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
note: YHWH's commands, old and new, are joyous, not grievous. The commands that came through Moses are a delight, if properly understood.

2nd John 1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment: That, as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it.
note: Agape love refers to feasting; that we are to feed one another, feast-style. Even if it's inconvenient. All commandments to love (agapao) are connected to the Law Of Moses, which specifies in great exhaustive detail how to properly throw magnificent feasts, complete with the finest wines and juices, the finest meats, breads, oils, spices, fruits and vegetables, (cooked to perfection), the finest music, singing, and dancing. Party on!

2nd John 1:9 Whoever transgresses, and abides not in the doctrine of MessiYah, has not Elohim. He who abides in the doctrine of MessiYah, he has both the Father and the Son.
note: If I transgress any commandments of YHWH, I have neither the Son nor the Father.

Apocalypsis (Revelation) 1:3 Blessed is he who reads, and they who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Apocalypsis (Revelation) 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he who keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
Apocalypsis (Revelation) 22:14 Blessed are they who do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
1 Maccabees 2:53 Joseph in the time of his distress kept the commandment and was made lord of Egypt.
1 Maccabees 2:55 JAHshua for fulfilling the word was made a judge in Israel.
1 Maccabees 3:60 Nevertheless, as the will of Elohim is in heaven, so let him do."
